    Largest progressive design-build project in the United States

    The Northeast Water Purification Plant for the City of Houston is estimated at $1.8 Billion and is the largest progressive design-build project in the US. F S Group Architects is the Architect of Record and in charge of the complete architectural 40 buildings on the campus. The buildings include a 3-story, 45,000s SF administration and maintenance Building as well as a 50,000 SF water intake building on the water in Lake Houston. The project is inspired by the lake houses with butterfly roofs and is LEED Silver certified. F S Group Architects will be providing On-Call Construction Phase Services during the expansion of the NEWPP from 80 million gallons to 320 million gallons. F S Group Architects also utilized advanced design technology such as MicroStation using Aecosim Modeling software and coordinating with the client’s BIM Team.
